Union Leader Interview

My second interview was published today in the New Hampshire Union Leader! I am so excited to see Tapestry: Strands of Yellow and Blue making it into the news. Many thanks to Nancy Bean Foster for seeking me out and making this possible.

If you're interested, I posted the full interview on my wordpress blog, here.

First Interview

Many thanks to Autumn Birt who did my very first interview.  Autumn is a fellow fantasy writer and is much more savvy than I am about blogs, electronic media, etc.  Thanks to my darling daughter and her technological know how this is finally getting posted.  Again, thanks Autumn. (and Meg.) Here is a link to the interview:

New England Book Award

In October of last year I submitted my book to the New England Book Festival. I didn't expect much to come of it, and was thrilled when I received an Honorable Mention for the Young Adult category!

The full list of awards can be found  here.

I attended the Festival in Boston a few weeks ago and enjoyed getting to know some of my fellow New England authors. The whole experience was a whirlwind of excitement.

Tapestry:  Strands of Yellow and Blue has been reviewed on Amazon by a young adult library who I do not know.  I'm gratified and feel she really understands the story and the meaning behind it.  I appreciate her time and effort and invite others to share their thoughts and review the book on Amazon.

Success

Before my book was published, I was asked how I would know if my book was a 'success'. I replied, "If it helps one person, that will be success." Today, in a beautiful email, I learned this project is a success.
